NTSB TO INVESTIGATE LAS VEGAS RUNWAY COLLISION INVOLVING TWO GENERAL AVIATION
AIRPLANES
NTSB investigators are en route to the scene of a runway collision earlier
today involving two general aviation airplanes -- a Piper PA-28 (N8604N) and
a Piper PA-46 (N146PM)-- at North Las Vegas airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There were no initial reports of fatalities or serious injuries. The investigator-in-charge
will be George Petterson from the Safety Board's Los Angeles office, assisted
by an air traffic specialist from NTSB headquarters.
