The size of the organizations engaging community health workers were as follows: 1 to 4 employees: 12.5 percent; 5 to 9 employees: 22.4 percent; 10 to 19 employees: 20.6 percent; 20 to 49 employees: 20.3 percent; 50 to 99 employees: 10.5 percent; 100 to 249 employees: 8.6 percent; 250 to 499 employees: 2.8 percent; 500 to 599 employees: 0.3 percent; and, 1,000 or more employees: 2.0 percent.
