Research Interests
My main interests lie in the realm of snow and ice. Working as an avalanche forecaster for the spring opening of Glacier National Park’s Going-to-the-Sun Road and being a graduate student has allowed me to research wet snow dynamics. My research is looking at water flow in an inclined stratified snowpack in relation to wet slab avalanches. While avalanches are my primary research topic, I also have an interest in snow hydrology and watershed hydrology.
