Forum on Away-From-Home Foods
"Away-from-home foods" are foods that are prepared and
purchased away from home. Americans spend approximately 46 percent of
their food budget on food prepared away from home and take in 32
percent of their calories from such foods, so the health impact
from these foods can be significant.
