Mission:    CG's Brain Trust

Purpose:   Intellectually stimulate the CG

Key Tasks:

• Remain current on TRADOC "futures" in ARCIC, AAC, CAC and CASCOM
• Maintain awareness of political, interagency, joint and coalition initiatives and determine impact on TRADOC
• Record CG thoughts, taskers and ideas - as required, transmit to SGS through XO as taskers
• Prepare speeches, professional articles and briefings for CG
• Review and analyze designated key staff actions
• Participate in TRADOC communications strategy working group and assist in improving strategic communication
• Execute quality control over CG trip books and select read-a-heads
• Perform as lead for CG OCONUS travel; pass to OCG EAAs for detailed coordination
• Develop and distribute CG trip reports
• Assist in the development of the CG's long-range calendar
• Coordinate CG's intent for CG's forums/conferences with the staff
• Coordinate, prepare and submit input for annual Green Book and Posture Statement
• Prepare and maintain Terms of Reference between CG and Commandants

End State: 

The CG is provided informed opinions and perspectives on actions, issues and opportunities relevant to Army "futures." TRADOC team is provided accurate account of CG tasks and thoughts. CG is able to confidently present his messages consistent with TRADOC communication strategy.
