If I just completed school, may I submit my application prior to obtaining professional licensure and/or certification?
You are encouraged to submit your application to the Commissioned Corps before you graduate. New graduates of many professions may become commissioned officers for a 1-year license-limited tour. At the end of that time, proof of licensure, certification, or registration is required for removal of the limitation and for retention in the Corps.
