Sarah Shapiro, Country Manager, Middle East and North Africa Region
Sarah Shapiro currently serves as the Country Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). As Country Manager, Ms. Shapiro is responsible for developing and implementing the USTDA economic development program throughout Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt. Before joining USTDA, Ms. Shapiro worked in the private sector for International Business Government-Counsellors (IBC). There she advised Fortune 500 clients on a broad range of international trade and investment issues within emerging markets.
Ms. Shapiro holds a Master’s Degree with Honors in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University's Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and BA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
