The Trinity Fellows Program is a twenty-one month study/work program dedicated to developing urban leaders with a commitment to social justice. The Trinity Fellows Program offers master’s degrees in business administration, civil and environmental engineering, communication, economics, English, history, international affairs, applied philosophy, political science, or public service. While engaged in full-time graduate study, Fellows work on substantive projects designed by selected nonprofit organizations in the Milwaukee area. Each fellowship includes a monthly stipend (current stipend is $1565 per month) and a full-tuition scholarship; these benefits exceed $60,000 for the 21-month program. Each student is charged a participation fee of $1250 per semester, which can be financed by the AmeriCorps education award. Fellowship terms begin in mid-August of each year; up to twelve fellowships are awarded annually.
Eligibility: applicants must meet the admission requirements of the Marquette University Graduate School. Prior AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, or other comparable full-time volunteer service is also mandatory.
Deadline: the deadline for applications is February 10 for fellowships that begin the following August.
