The George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis provides AmeriCorps alumni the opportunity to enrich your commitment to service and passion for social justice. The Brown School offers a flexible curriculum with six concentrations and international practicum opportunities. Also, Brown awards over $3 million in scholarships, including the Richard A. Gephardt Scholarship, a full tuition scholarship for an individual who expresses a strong commitment to public service. For AmeriCorps alumni not receiving a scholarship, the Brown School will provide a one-for-one AmeriCorps tuition award match. The Brown School also offers an admission deferral to those applying for admission prior to beginning AmeriCorps service. All AmeriCorps volunteers and alumni are eligible for an application fee waiver.
