The Rodeo-Chediski Fire in east-central Arizona has engulfed hundreds of thousands of acres. This Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) image shows the fire on June 28, 2002. The high-resolution scene shows the location of nearby cities and towns.
