What's New?
The McMurdo Station Webcam
McMurdo Station is the main U.S. station in Antarctica operated by the National Science Foundation (NSF), is the primary logistics facility for supply of inland stations and remote field camps, and is the waste management center for much of the U.S. Antarctic Program.
Now there is a webcam mounted there to allow USAP participants, scientists, and the general public to view activities throughout the station. To provide these images, the USAP portal supports a new McMurdo webcam page:

The web page also provides current weather, aerial photos, and links to current research projects. Additional links and resources include the National Science Foundation—Office of Polar Programs, NSF in the Antarctic, International Polar Year 2007-2008, and International Geophysical Year (IGY) web sites.
