The Cornhusker State has a long history of using clean energy, embodied in its robust nuclear power program.  Nebraska is also making strides in the introduction of renewable energy sources.  For example, work is underway on the construction of the 60-megawatt Ainsworth Wind Energy Facility, which will be the state’s largest wind facility when it begins operation.
