Neutron therapy is appropriate for the following histologies:

Patients who may benefit from neutron therapy include:

Patients with unresectable, inoperable or recurrent bulky adenocarcinoma.
Patients who have microscopically positive margins following surgery.
Patients who have positive celiac or other regional lymph nodes following surgery.
