• Retirement contributions. The annuity statement we sent when we completed your benefits calculation shows your total retirement contributions. They are also your annual earnings statement.

• Benefits effective date. The annuity statement we sent when we completed your benefits calculation shows the date your benefits began. Use the date your benefits began, not the date of your first payment.

• For retirees: your date of birth and your spouse’s date of birth if you elected to provide benefits after your death. Use your own date of birth if you are the surviving family member of a former federal employee.

To make the calculation, select one of the three categories showing when your benefits began and select the type of benefits you receive. Then select the "Continue" button.

We use Internal Revenue Service rules. We are unable to make the calculation if you retired and elected the Alternative Form of Annuity option, or are a Federal Employees Retirement System survivor and received the FERS Death Benefit.
