David Utts Will Speak on How Leaders Can Generate Profound Results at Coaches Community of Practice Meeting on April 29

David Utts, President of Executive Skillworks, will speak at the Coaches Community of Practice meeting from 9 – noon on April 29, 2005. His topic is “What It Takes for Leaders to Generate Profound Results,” a presentation on the cutting edge of leadership research and technology.

The meeting, sponsored by Treasury’s Federal Consulting Group, will be held in the amphitheater at 1700 G St , NW. If you are a federal employee and wish to attend—and are not a member of the Coaches Community of Practice—please contact Lee Salmon at lee.salmon@ots.treas.gov. Guests from outside the Federal government are welcome on a space available basis.

You will walk away from David Utts’s presentation with real gems of wisdom that you can apply in the development of your leadership team and/or in your work as an executive coach.

His presentation will answer the following questions:

  • » What are the key competencies leaders must have today to succeed?
  • » What are the biggest leadership barriers in today’s organizations?
  • » If it is so obvious what leadership is – why don’t people act like leaders?
  • » What cutting edge and proven choices do you have for rapidly forwarding the development of your leaders?

In the course of this program, we will share the powerful insights and data distilled from research on The Leadership Circle Profile (TLCP). This extraordinary assessment tool does much more than merely giving a snap shot of how a leader measures up against specific competencies. TLCP actually connects a leader’s patterns of behavior to his or her habits of thought to reveal key opportunities of development…in an instant. More than simply an assessment tool, this profile’s deep theoretical underpinnings open up pathways for personal transformation. During the session David Utts will be sharing the developmental model that stands behind this tool as well as the research that is emerging from the tool’s use.
