TVA To Close Bridge Across Great Falls Dam

CANEY FORK, Tenn. – TVA will close the road and bridge across Great Falls Dam for two years beginning July 30 for maintenance work on the dam’s spillway gates.

The road is scheduled to reopen in July 2009.

Recommended alternate routes during the two-year period include:

• County Road 36 to Powerhouse Road for motorists traveling from White County
• County Road 136 to County Road 287 for motorists traveling from Warren County
