TVA To Close One Lane of Highway 153 Across Chickamauga Dam

Traffic on Highway 153 across TVA’s Chickamauga Dam (Thrasher Bridge) will be restricted to one lane at various times between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday, July 30, through Wednesday, Aug. 1, for bridge maintenance.

One lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times. In the event of inclement weather, the work schedule may be extended.
