President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Paul Carmony upon arrival in Louisville, Kentucky, on Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Carmony is a volunteer with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and CASA of Jefferson County. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States. He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Carmony, since March 2002.
