MISR Browse Images for the Puerto Rico Dust Experiment (PRiDE) |
These MISR Browse images provide a quick visual overview of the region observed during the Puerto Rico Dust Experiment (PRiDE) field campaign. PRiDE was a study of the radiative, microphysical, and transport properties of African dust, and it was held June 27 to July 24, 2000. More information about PRiDE can be found at http://modis-atmos.gsfc.nasa.gov/PRIDE/ and http://geo.arc.nasa.gov/sgg/PRIDE/. The MISR Browse images from the nadir camera include paths 4 and 5 for June 27 to July 24, 2000. The images were subsetted to cover blocks 74 through 78, intensity-stretched to highlight surface features, and arranged chronologically into a composite. |
