As a scientist officer in the Commissioned Corps, your work will improve health, save lives, and promote scientific and medical discovery at home and abroad. You can conduct cutting-edge biomedical, clinical, behavioral, or epidemiological research and develop and provide oversight for national health research programs. You can respond to public health emergencies and natural disasters and help communities recover in the aftermath.
