Status
Long Range Interceptor
In
mid-Nov, familiarization training with the pre-commissioning crew of
CGC BERTHOF and personnel from Northrop Grumman Ship Systems and Lockheed
Martin
was conducted by Willard Marine, the manufacturer of the LRI, to include
both classroom and underway training.
Recently, the LRI successfully completed
an interoperability test with USCGC BERTHOF. The Lockheed Martin C4ISR
team demonstrated communications
and navigation interoperability between the LRI and Bertholf at ranges
up to 16 nautical miles.
Short Range Prosecutor
The eighth SRP was delivered in January 2006. Production of SRPs will continue to support testing and delivery of each new surface asset.Information About
