Our goal is to help structure settlements that are consistent with all Federal personnel laws, including those civil service benefit laws that are OPM's responsibility. OPM encourages amicable settlements of personnel disputes, and will work with you to structure settlements that are fair, equitable, and consistent with Federal personnel law and the integrity of Federal benefits programs.
