- The President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll is a recognition program designed to increase public awareness of the contributions that colleges and their students are making in their local communities and across the country through volunteer service.
- The President's Volunteer Service Award is a recognition program sponsored by the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation that honors Americans who have made serving others a central part of their lives.
- The Universities Rebuilding America Partnership (URAP) offers resources and support to engage college and university students, faculty, and staff in helping to rebuild the Gulf Coast region.
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is a national effort to use Dr. King's life and teachings to transform the holiday in his honor into community service that empowers and strengthen local communities.
