Off the north coast of Australia, Tropical Cyclone Craig brought heavy rains to the region, and in the wake of its passing, left floods along the coast. In the false-color image, standing water along rivers appears deep blue, the clouds of Cyclone Craig are light blue, vegetation is bright green, and sediment churned up by high tides and run-off appears electric blue (see image center). These images were acquired on March 12, 2003, by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on the Terra satellite.
