VIEWER INSTRUCTIONS

The New England SPARROW Viewer is an online mapping application that allows users to access a variety of information from the New England SPARROW Models. New England SPARROW model results are estimated for all stream reaches contained in an enhanced SPARROW version of the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). The major attributes of the SPARROW data are available for display, tied to the reaches in the New England SPARROW stream network or their corresponding reach catchment. Other information from the SPARROW model is also accessible using the “Identify” tool.

The online Viewer interface is comprised of four main components: (1) Toolbar; (2) Map Display, (3) Table of Contents; and (4) the Overview Map. The scale of the data displayed in the Map Display is shown with a scale bar beneath the map.
