Research InterestsI am working primarily in the area of Sol-gel processing. I have worked on superhydrophobic aerogels, Janus silica films, patterning of polymers and their applications for C-MEMS. Some of the charaterization techniques that I use frequently include AFM, SEM, contact angle goniometry, Raman-IR spectroscopy and BET surface area analysers.EducationPh.D. Physics; Shivaji University (2004) Thesis: "Synthesis and Characterization of Hydrophobic Aerogels"M.
