Under Secretary Karen Hughes: Travel to Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Panama and El Salvador

Under Secretary Karen Hughes traveled with Secretary Rice to Chile to attend the inauguration of President Michelle Bachelet and from there traveled to Brazil, Colombia, Panama, and El Salvador from March 10 through March 18. During her trip, Under Secretary Hughes met with students, non-governmental organizations, community leaders, and senior government officials.
