PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Tribal Colleges and University Project -- Summer Research Experience

[Faculty & Students Higher Education]
[Available: Nationally]

Summer research opportunities for up to ten weeks are available for Tribal College and University students and faculty teams. These opportunities allow the participants to gain hands-on experience in their NASA-related field of study and to explore potential federal service in NASA. Teams and/or interns are matched with a scientific research project or an ongoing engineering effort at one of the 10 NASA centers, based upon laboratory requirements and the students' background, academic level and interest. The students and educators contribute to the NASA centers' projects and conduct research relevant to their home reservation and Native people. Participants with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation services.
