PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ESMD Space Grant Student Project

[Students Higher Education]
[Available: Nationally]

The ESMD Student Project consists of three student opportunities: exploration-related internships at NASA Centers or with space-related industry, senior design projects, and a systems engineering paper competition. It seeks to involve a diverse group of students in substantive, hands-on, engineering experiences to prepare them for future careers in space with systems engineering experience as a key aspect. Senior Design projects are coordinated through participating universities with their Space Grant Consortium. The application deadlines for NASA Center Student Internships are: Summer -- January 28, 2008 and Fall -- May 1, 2008.
