Metro Transit Special Rider Alert, June 2002

Bus Service Improvements Start Saturday, June 8, 2002

Every day, changes occur to King County roads, businesses and communities that impact our transportation network. That's why Metro makes changes to its bus service several times throughout the year. We want to help make your bus trips as fast and convenient as possible, and deliver service you can count on and appreciate.

A quick summary of our overall June changes is listed in this Special Rider Alert. Please refer to your route's specific new green timetable for complete schedule information. Please remember that other transit agencies may have changes to their service in June, too. Be sure to refer to their specific literature or web site to ensure the information you rely on is current and up to date.

We also invite you to visit our web site or call call Rider Information (206-553-3000; TTY 206-684-1739) to learn more about the many transportation options available for you in King County. Choose from buses, Access vans, vanpools, Flexcars, and discover new ways to plan your bus trips and buy bus passes. At Metro, we're working hard to give you easy access to the things you need in everyday life, plus help you save money, reduce stress and protect our environment, too.

Just come to the front of the bus at least a block ahead of where you want to get off and request your stop. The driver will decide whether the stop you asked for can be made safely.
