International travelers who are seeking to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program are now subject to enhanced security requirements. All eligible travelers who wish to travel under the Visa Waiver Program must apply for authorization using the following process:

Apply for an Authorization to Travel to the United States

Select this option if:

  • You are a citizen or eligible national of a Visa Waiver Program country.
  • You are currently not in possession of a visitor's visa.
  • Your travel is for 90 days or less.
  • You plan to travel to the United States for business or pleasure.

Update or Check the Status of a Previously Submitted Authorization to Travel to the United States

Select this option if:

  • You previously submitted an application for an electronic travel authorization and you want to perform one of the following:
    • Determine the status of your travel authorization application.
    • Update your travel authorization application.
What information can I update?

Please provide the following information about your application:

Enter the application number that was assigned to your application by the system when you applied for your travel authorization. The application number is required to update or check the status of your application.
Birth Date

Choose the day on which you were born. The day of birth is required to complete the application or to check the status of your application.
