Service Update for CaliforniaSanta Barbara: On the morning of May 8, all stations are in the Evacuation Warning Area. The evacuation order is still in effect for residents north of State Street, from La Cumbre Road to Figueroa Road. The order has been expanded to the 101 and to Highway 154 to Patterson. USPS will close the retail windows at the San Roque Post Office today. There have been approximately 6,000 non-deliveries so far, with more street closures expected today. There are no reported power outages at any of the P&DCs or Post Offices. Service Update for North DakotaValley City, ND: As of May 4, delivery impacted areas remain due to contingency dikes that are still in place. Water is still above flood stage and is receding each day. But the dikes could be in place for at least two more weeks. Customers in the impacted area can pick up their mail at the Valley City Post Office, 149 Third St. N.E. from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. until delivery service is restored. Lisbon, ND, and LaMoure, ND: Conditions continue to deteriorate in these two areas. Wichita, KS — Water Leak causes FloodingService updates for KansasNew Albany: A tornado has destroyed the New Albany, KS, Post Office, 101 2nd Street, New Albany, KS, 66759-9998. Additional information is forthcoming. The following Post Offices are closed until further notice:LouisianaCameron Post Office (70631) is closed. Residents can pick their mail up at the Lake Charles Drew Station. New JerseyThe Bergenline 45th Street Station, 4535 Bergenline Ave., Ste, A, Union City, NJ, 07087-9993, is closed. New YorkThe South Kortright, NY, Post Office 10675 County Highway 18, 13842 is temporarily closed. The mail is being redirected to Hobart, NY 13788 located at 698 Main St, Suite #1.
