Usability provides course on "Usability Testing that Gets Results"
ME's Usability Solutions Group provided a two day course to a capacity audience on Usability
Testing that gets Results." This popular course taught attendees how to conduct their usability
tests to measure content, navigation, task flow, design and layout, and branding.
Also included were:
1) How to setup evaluations of your web site,
2) How to organize your own performance testing to measure improvements, and
3) How to analyze test findings and develop research-based recommendations to improve your systems usability, usefulness and user satisfaction.

OGP Facilitates Agency and Industry Response on Federal ID Credentials
Over 90 representatives of agencies and industry partners of the government Smart Card Interagency
Advisory Board (IAB) met in mid-November to develop technical recommendations for NIST Special Publication
800-73 and Federal Information Processing Standard 210 (FIPS 201). The draft for comment was released
November 8th. This is the response to the Homeland Security Policy Directive (HSPD) 12, personal identity
verification for employees and contractor to access federal building and information systems sets
aggressive dates for the standard to be completed and agencies to implement. When approved,
FIPS 201 will serve as the basis for the new ID credentials. For further information, contact
