  • Provides free washing of Kodak microfilm.*
  • Offered to Kodak microfilm customers who regularly use microfilm purchased from Kodak or Kodak Authorized Distributors. These customers must process their film through a processing lab that subscribes to the Kodak Image Guard Program or their own internal processing facilities that meet Kodak processing standards.
  • If original roll film is damaged (from such causes as flood, fire, sewage, malfunction or broken water pipes), Kodak will rewash, dry and return the rolls of film without charge.
  • Contact Kodak immediately at the Disaster Recovery Laboratory 1-800-EKC-TEST (1-800-352-8378) to advise them of the number of damaged rolls, the extent and nature of the damage and how long the film was submerged. The quicker the microfilm is shipped and information is provided to the laboratory, the better the chances of minimizing loss.
  • Kodak will supply a new reel and carton without charge. The damaged carton will be returned along with the new carton, so the customer will be able to transfer their indexing information to the new carton.
