We have received several inquiries about the new Limited Expense Health Care Flexible Spending Account (LEX HCFSA). This new option is available in 2006 to Federal employees enrolled in high deductible health plans with health savings accounts.
We have attached a copy of Director Springer's November 9, 2005 MEMORANDUM FOR CHIEF HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICERS, which provides an explanation of the new LEX HCFSA option. You can read further information on these new accounts at www.opm.gov/hsa
