Washington, D.C. (January 24, 2007) — The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board announced today that Gary A. Amelio, Executive Director of the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) for Federal employees, is resigning to accept a post as President of the Retirement Services business unit of ULLICO, Inc.  Board Chairman Andrew M. Saul lauds Amelio’s accomplishments and announces that the executive search firm of Heidrick & Struggles has been retained to conduct a search for his successor.  For more information, please see the January 24, 2007, press release.
