U.S. NATIONAL RADAR IMAGE PRODUCTS
Provided by the NWS Central Processing Centers & the Telecommunication Gateway

The NEXRAD WSR-88D products of a Weather Forecast Offices are included on their individual web sites as an image display along with products related to their area of responsibility.




A radar coded message (RCM) based mosaic is generated every 30 minutes for the continental U.S. which incorporates information from weather satellites It is also produced in a 6 hour animation




A SD16 black & white composite hourly facsimile produced is generated by NCEP as a National composite Radar Summary chart which include cloud tops, convective sigmets, and outlooks. requires a TIFF viewer



The NCEP/AWC composite image is produced which includes aviation used cloud tops, convective sigmets, and outlooks.
