How to Apply for Legal Positions

Administrative Law Judge
SSA fills these positions in over 142 Hearing Offices located across the country. Generally, applicants must have seven years of appropriate legal experience and must apply to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to be considered. Staff Attorney, Attorney-Advisor and Attorney-Examiner
Applying for the position of staff attorney, attorney-advisor or attorney-examiner is a simple process, if you have Bar membership. The Government does not require tests for these positions.
