CEP Holdings, Inc. D/B/A Colonendparenthesis.net, Trevor Reed, Clayton Kimbrell and Colon End Parenthesis Trust, LLC

On July 10, 2007, the SEC obtained a temporary restraining order and asset freeze against Trevor Reed and Clayton Kimbrell in connection with their alleged ongoing fraudulent scheme involving the offer and sale of securities in unregistered transactions via the Internet.  According to the complaint, since approximately November 2005, Reed and Kimbrell, through an entity they own and control, CEP Holdings, Inc. d/b/a Colon End Parenthesis, have fraudulently sold approximately $12 million worth of securities in unregistered transactions (referred to as “memberships”) to approximately 5,000 investors nationwide.  For more information about the SEC’s action, you can read Litigation Release No. 20191 (July 11, 2007).
