Discretionary Grants.
Discretionary Grant Information System (DGIS) program and performance data describe and help to measure effectiveness of the more than 900 maternal and child health grants HRSA makes each year. Grants help to ensure that the Nation's women, infants, children, adolescents, and their families, including fathers and children with special health care needs, have access to quality health care. Programs are focused on all aspects of care, including emergency medical services for children, traumatic brain injury, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, and more.
