- Oil Spills: M/V Cosco Busan San Francisco Bay Oil Spill On November 7, 2007 the container ship M/V Cosco Busan struck the Bay Bridge in San Francisco Bay, California. The 900-foot ship was carrying over one million gallons of fuel at the time of the incident.
