USA.gov

USA.gov is the official portal for the U.S. government and is recognized as one of the most effective websites in the government today.    

The award-winning site has received more than 97 million visits during 2007.  Citizens use USA.gov to find information, services and transactions on millions of pages from federal, state and local government websites.

USA.gov has launched 9 online tutorials to teach visitors how to access government informaiton and services on the Internet.

USA.gov has launched GovGab.gov, a new general government Weblog to further improve citizen access to official government information and services.

Users are able to easily toggle back and forth from USA.gov and GobiernoUSA.gov (our Spanish-language counterpart to USA.gov) for additional information in Spanish or English on a particular topic. RSS feeds and email alerts are also now being provided in both English and Spanish.

GobiernoUSA.gov

GobiernoUSA.gov represents an important effort since October of 2003 to reach out to some 30 million Americans who report speaking Spanish at home (Census 2000).

GobiernoUSA.gov has over 900 external links and provides access to more than 125,000 pages in Spanish from the federal, state and local governments, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico government websites.

Visitors can e-mail their questions about the government and receive responses in Spanish, or they can call 1 (800) FED INFO (333-4636) for help in Spanish and English.

Pueblo.gsa.gov

Run by the Federal Citizen Information Center of GSA, pueblo.gsa.gov provides online access to consumer information and publications from federal agencies. Consumers can read, print out, or save the full text of all the publications listed in the Consumer Information Catalog. Users can also find great information on a wide range of topics, as well as the latest product recalls and scams and updates of consumer news items.

Kids.gov

Kids.gov is the official children’s portal to the U.S. government and provides links to over 400 kid-friendly websites from  government agencies, schools, and private organizations—all geared to the level and interest of kids.
