Course Overview

This course looks at writing as a process involving many steps and decisions. The course considers not only the writer, but also the audience for whom the product is being written.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Identify and assess their writing habits,

  • Identify their audiences,

  • Write in concise sentences,

  • Use deductive structure in writing paragraphs, and

  • Review a document quickly.
