I know that many of you have been wondering about the status of the WBRS/eGrants integration. Over the past several months, we have been engaged in a review of the integration project: both the technical progress we have made as well as how our streamlining efforts are impacting data collection, reporting and the system integration.

Based on the results of our review, we have decided to end the integration project.  Moving forward, we will be maintaining the current WBRS system until we are able to finish our streamlining activities. We anticipate that as a result of streamlining many of our data collections will be simplified.  Progress reports, for example, will be simplified both in form and content. We will create our new reporting formats first so that program requirements drive the new technology.

As we move forward in this process, we will continue to keep you updated.  Please feel free to contact your program officer with any questions that you may have.
