The Global Change Master Directory work is planned in line with the GCMD's mission and in conjunction with the goals and responsibilities as the International Directory Network (IDN) of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites' (CEOS).  The shared goals with EOSDIS are also recognized, along with the valuable feedback from the GCMD's Science User Working Group.
