  • NIH Intramural Sequencing Center (NISC) 10th Anniversary Symposium
    October 16, 2007

To commemorate NISC's 10th anniversary, the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) held a one-day symposium in the Masur Auditorium of the Clinical Center, on the Bethesda, Maryland campus.

  • 2007 Pigment Cell Development Workshop
    June 14-15, 2007
The International Federation of Pigment Cell Societies Development Group is hosting a small meeting in the field of pigment cell development with particular emphasis on research in differentiation, gene expression and embryology. This conference will explore these themes by gathering experts in a broad range of fields spanning basic transcriptional mechanisms through the clinical impact of pigment cell research. Special attention will be given to available resources and technologies for pigment cell research.

  • Current Topics in Genome Analysis 2006
    September 5 - December 5, 2006

The 13-part lecture series covering the major areas of genomics. The seventh edition of the course, the lectures are geared at the level of first year graduate students, are practical in nature and are intended for a diverse audience.

  • The 2006 Jeffrey M. Trent Lectureship in Cancer Research
    October 20, 2006
The fourth annual Jeffrey M.Trent Lectureship in Cancer Research was presented on Friday, October 20 by Michael Stratton, Ph.D., the Head of the Cancer Genome Project at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Hinxton, U.K. and Professor of Cancer Genetics at the Institute of Cancer Research, London, U.K.

  • Current Topics in Genome Analysis 2005
    January 11 - April 19, 2005

Syllabus, videocasts and handouts for the 13-part lecture series covering the major areas of genomics. The lectures are geared at the level of first year graduate students, are practical in nature and are intended for a diverse audience.

  • The 2005 Jeffrey M. Trent Lectureship in Cancer Research
    September 13, 2005

  • 2004 Pigment Cell Development Workshop
    April 28-30, 2004

A meeting designed to coalesce the remarkable recent progress in the field of pigment cell development with research aimed at gaining new insights into differentiation, gene expression and embryology. This conference will explore these themes by gathering experts in a broad range of fields spanning basic transcriptional mechanisms through the clinical impact of pigment cell research.

  • Third NIH Conference on Holoprosencephaly (HPE)
    April 18-20, 2004
The conference will focus on normal and abnormal, early embryonic midline development and laterality. Topics in individual sessions will include new findings on HPE, oral/facial clefting, laterality defects with emphasis on congenital heart defects, psychosocial research on HPE families and HPE in diverse populations.

  • International HapMap Community Analysis Meeting [capconcorp.com]
