Marine Science Symposium, January 2003
Steller Sea Lion (SSL) Presentations

This web page provides access to converted posters and PowerPoint presentations given at the Marine Sciences in the Northeast Pacific Symposium: Science for Resource Dependent Communities, held on 13-17 January 2003, in Anchorage, Alaska. The presentations are designed to help inform scientists and other members of the interested public about recent advances in understanding the marine science that bears on marine resource dependent communities in Alaska and adjacent waters. Significant recent advances in understanding how oceanography, climate and food webs interact are expected to benefit those engaged in fisheries, conservation of protected species, environmental protection and education.
