Retirement

To recognize the contributions that State Department retired colleagues continue to make to our country and to the Department, in 2005 Human Resources launched a major interactive retirement network for employees known as RNet. The website offers service in the best tradition of an alumni network. The philosophy behind RNet is simple: recognize the lifetime relationship between annuitants and the Department. Like any good university alumni system, the Department and our nation's foreign policy can only benefit from a strong and engaged retiree network. Read more about RNet in State Magazine.
