What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as headlines. Using an RSS reader, you can receive an automatic update when articles are added to the EID Journal’s Ahead of Print page. You can get links to our latest articles in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to remember to visit our site every day.

RSS content is distributed through a feed, or channel. You will need an RSS Reader to collect and display these feeds.

How do I get an RSS Reader?

Some web browsers have built-in readers. If your browser does not, there are many RSS Readers available for download on the Internet. Click the following link to locate an RSS reader that suits you:

How can I sign up for EID's RSS Feed?

Each RSS reader is slightly different, but usually these steps should work:

Paste the URL into your reader's "Add New Channel" section. The RSS feed will now display content and update the headlines on a regular basis.
