The correction updates line 8 (compensation of employees) and line 9 (wage and salary accruals) in table 9. These corrections do not affect published estimates of gross domestic product, wage and salary disbursements, compensation of employees received, personal income, gross domestic income, or national income. (Note that estimates of gross domestic income and national income for the first quarter of 2008 are not available until the release of preliminary GDP estimates on May 29, 2008.)

This release includes new value-added final-demand multipliers, which can be used to estimate how a change in final demand in a region affects total value added in a region. Multipliers based on 1997 national benchmark input-output data and 2005 regional data are available for 473 detailed industries and for 60 industry aggregations. Multipliers based on 2005 national annual input-output data and 2005 regional data are available for 60 industry aggregations. Multipliers for any region composed of one or more counties may be ordered at a cost of $225 per region. Industries may be ordered individually at a cost of $50 per industry.
